Located in the dynamic hub of the Paddington precinct, Suzina Melina has an irresistible shopfront with an interior to seduce the soul. “It’s the salon I’d want to come to if I wasn’t a hairdresser,” says Sue. Sue has owned and managed seven salons over her hairdressing career, starting her first one at age 20. From 1983 to 2003, Sue and husband Jim established four Suji Hair Salons, three in the Centenary area, with the flagship store maintaining a strong hair fashion presence for 13 years at Westfield Indooroopilly Shoppingtown. Sue has been a previous salon educator for Matrix and past Artistic Director and Chairman of Queensland for Intercoiffure- a world-wide elite hairdressing organisation. Sue and her staff have been awarded many accolades over the years, and she has personally trained hundreds of staff over her thirty year career, some of whom are now successful salon owners to date. |
